Decency Onyekachi studied Nursing in the School of Nursing Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital Nnewi, Anambra state. During the course of the study, He was elected as the course Representative of His set and the President of all the Schools of Nursing and Midwifery in Anambra state at the time, upon graduation, he worked in Madonna University Teaching Hospital River state, and later left Madonna to work in an oil and gas company called ADDAX petroleum/shoreline logistics based in Calabar.
He later went further in his carrier to study Operating Room Nursing in University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital Enugu. Due to the phenomenal track record of his excellent leadership skills, he was again elected President of National Association of PeriOperative Nursing student, University of Nigeria Teaching hospital Enugu chapter. During his time as the President, he organized free medical outreach to rural communities, seminars and workshops which affected the lives of many positively.
After his graduation, he relocated to the Federal Capital Territory Abuja. He has worked in leading non-governmental and government-owned hospitals in the heart of the Federal Capital Territory. He worked in National hospital Abuja as an Operating Room(OR) Nurse and also worked in Nigerian Turkish Nizamiye Hospital in dual capacity, both as an Operating Room Nurse and also as the Head of Nursing Education.
Presently, He’s the Chairman Society for Nurses in Endoscopy and Minimally Invasive Surgery(SNEMIS) in Nigeria.
Boss Decency as he’s fondly called by his candidates wrote RN NCLEX in Orlando Florida and passed. He has been committed to helping people achieve success in their career goal. Due to his vast knowledge and experience in processing, credentialing, registration, strategic planning, mentorship and developing individualized study plan for candidates, he has greatly increased the statistics of Nigerian nurses who have successfully passed their RN NCLEX in one attempt without the help of any Agency.
